End of Year 2021 review
In a few days, a new year will begin. As every year, we look back at the highlights of the past 12 months and review them.
We expected a lot, but some things surprised us. In the summer we still hoped that the COVID-19 situation would slowly ease, but in autumn we already found out that this was not the case.
Fortunately, we had already gained a lot of experience in 2020 and were, therefore, able to work through this time well. Now we hope that 2022 will bring some relief.
Our highlights and greatest achievements:
Company’s Name change
In September we changed our name from Workflow EDV GmbH to Workflow HR Systems GmbH. The name change took place 21 years after the company was founded and shows that our focus will continue to be entirely on HR software in the future.
Workflow updates and innovations
Our development team has developed 19 new features or parts of features, which have been made available in 85 versions. We also fixed 421 bugs and made 175 product improvements. Details can be found in our release notes: https://extranet.workflow.at/daisy/webdesk-manual/2455-dsy.html
Our team is growing
This year we were able to welcome 4 new employees to our workflow team. In the area of marketing, we are supported by Tara Kupec. Akhmed Khalikov supports our customer service team and Gerd Fiedler strengthens our consultant team. Katharina Munk works hard to help our developers. This year we are working again with IAESTE and were able to welcome our intern Adam Khlif in November.
Fit2Work & company events
This is our contribution to support our employees also in the home office and to ensure that they are doing well. In the home office as well as in everyday office life, it is important to have a good work-life balance. We ensure this with craft sessions, business breakfasts, and other events that contribute to a good mood. A special highlight was our internal workflow summer BBQ event.
Digital marketing
We are also working harder on our marketing measures. These will help us to further expand our digital and social media marketing. As last year, we rely on a good mix of classic and online marketing measures as well as B2B activities. All of this contributes to strengthening and further expanding our brand. We pay particular attention to promoting employee satisfaction and showing this on our social media channels.
Trade fairs and training
Fortunately, this year our team was able to personally attend a few trade fairs and maintain customer contact. As our team continues to grow, we have also held some internal training courses so that the entire team is well informed.
That is due for 2022
One focus in the area of marketing will be a facelift of our Workflow.at website next year. In addition to the performance, the ease of use and the quick retrieval of relevant information will be in the foreground.
COVID-19 has changed the demand for HR software. The main topics of last year were home office, short-time work and the digitization of personnel administration, this year many companies have also been looking for a simple and fast type of travel expense accounting – which is also best used on the move. However, we do not rest in this area and are constantly busy optimizing our offer.
We would like to thank everyone who made this year a success again! Together we look ahead with confidence and are already looking forward to the new projects in 2022.
